hi im new here im not really sure how to start being part of a group or how to do any of this so for now just quickly post a bit about why im here my issues from being sexually abused by both parents have hurt my life i am loosing friends even as an adult because i dont know how to deal with all that i have been through it started when i was 5 and i have an 11 year old that is my fathers i live in constant fear and the nightmares and flashbacks are really dragging me down

Wow I can't imagine having a child from rape, that right there makes you a Superstar! That's got to be really hard and yet you decided to be his mom anyways, good for you!

Are you in counseling and/or on meds? If not my suggestion is find one ASAP. Going at this alone isn't healthy/good at all! Until you can find one there's a wonderful site called rainn.org. And yes come here as much as you need to. Sending big big hugs!

thanks i am on meds but not in counseling right now i tried once and it just didnt work out for me

Please, don’t let one loser “therapist” ruin it for all of them..
I’ve had “therapist” who flat out told me I didn’t remember my rape correctly.. that no younger kid would rape/beat an older kid... I left in tears, went to complain to the front desk, their response was “well, if you can’t work with her, then we can’t help you”..
now I drive almost an hour, two counties away for a therapist...
please, don’t give up looking for help!

You are totally awesome, you are stronger than you think! There are really cool folks here who you can talk to.. many understand the thoughts, feelings, and more..
you’re not alone, there are many here...

thanks i have been looking into online counseling i am waiting for a reply from one place so am hoping that it becomes a workable option i appreciate you all very much and thanks for not judging me

    I had been told so many year's ago that post will be deleted after so long...maybe 30 day's?  I am now up to over 17,000 and that is after I tried deleting.Just sort of curious if anyone has the same problem or sure I really care?

    I know that we all have issues at times whether it is my computer or DS.  Often we get through it.  But I would just love to know the explanation of all the Gateways.I've had a 404 page not found.504 Gateway time out.403 Forbidden.I sooo hate it when I sent a post and doesn't go through.  On some Gateways I get them back.  On other's not so much and so frustrating.Please if you will explain...
