no matter what the rapist's wants were it's still rape......i did a research papaer on rape and the most common want for rapists are control....there are a few that want contro land other things.....those other things include: pain for the victim for she reminds him of a female in his life he dislikes or he just hates women in general, the excitement of watching the victim struggle and mutilating the victim-in this instance the rapist ususally kills their victims....i hope this answered your question and again, i'm so sorry you went through this

but he didnt see me stuggle, i didnt put up that much of a struggle he just wanted to have sex and said he wanted to try it even with my profuse saying no. He wanted sex, i didnt see him wanting to control me

By him "wanting" to have sex with you, and forcing you to do it--he was controlling you.

Someone who really wants to have sex with another person can tell them that, and can show that--but a normal person doesn't assume they have the right to take the control of another's body away from them, and use it for their own purposes.

Normal people don't feel justified violating, exploiting, and controlling other people to satisfy their own ends. Rapists and other abusers do think they are entitled to control over other people--rapists think they are entitled to take control over their victim's body no matter what the victim thinks or feels about it--that's what rape is.
