I just wanted to say that this is the first time in a long while that I've come on here and not seen a single post with 0 comments on it! So thank you and hurray to absolutely every member of this group! :D

It breaks my heart when I see a 0 comment post, because it makes me feel like someone is sat there waiting for help or answers or just a little understanding and nothing has happened for them yet.

So I'm just saying thank you to everyone who has ever helped or supported anyone on here, and everyone who has had the courage to make a post when they felt in need. You are all wonderful people who deserve the support of everyone around you.

I hope everyone is doing a little better today and has found something that has made them smile.

The knowledge that everyone who posted lately has had at least one kind word sent to their aid made me smile.

What makes you smile? :D

If anyone ever needs to talk, I'm happy to listen.

This post was touching and so nice. I too have seen people who try to reach out and no one responds. I've often wondered why some get dozens of replies while others only a few and some zero. I still haven't figured it out, This was a positive and sensitive post and worthy of a response.

I've been on DS a long time and have only started a thread twice. Neither got many responses but thankfully it wasn't 0. Only receiving 2 or 3 was discouraging enough. So instead I just reply. I saw your post at zero and after reading what you wrote refused to leave it at zero.

I'm so sorry for what you've endured. You deserved better. Stay strong

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed this post. I was trying to get some positive feeling going and show some support for everyone. :)

I often respond more than post myself, and I find that some threads get few or 0 responses even when they have a similar question or concern to a post with way more.... :( It makes no sense.

I'm sorry that you feel like not many people are supporting you here... If you ever need to talk, just drop me a message. :)

this was such a nice post....often times i find that when i post or respond no one really comments after.....i think i'm a little annoying to people and such.....well i hope this doesn't prevent people from posting on your thread.....really touched me and made me feel happy :) thanks!! and if YOU ever need someone to talk to, i;m here for ya

I also liked this post. I know I'm a male rape survivor on a board with the majority of members being female. I always try to judge whether my perspective with be constructive or not, and it usually takes me at least 5 minutes to reply to a post because I try to be as supportive and understanding as possible. I also understand when some posts are strictly female and I usually stay out of the discussion out of respect.

Anyway, really great post. And one of the things that makes me smile is my dog and the picture I have of her in mid yawn, it's pretty funny

Valgal18 - You're ace! Don't think otherwise. I don't think you're annoying at all. :) Shai3323 is totally right. :)

KyleB18 - Don't be afraid to post because of your gender! We have all suffered, and I know that I for one would value your support and input regardless of gender. Some people might not agree but the fact that you care enough to try is lovely enough. :) You have a gorgeous dog, and you seem like a great person. :)

You are all wonderful, I wish you the best of days and that you find new and amazing things to smile about every day. :)
