i went through that hell, it was 3 guys. I would advise you on your journal to keep it as "friends only" so you can pick or choose. I used to worry about that but this site is well monitored.

Happened to me too. 5 guys. Anal r***. This was my sophomore year in college. I know its hard to talk about. I don't feel too comfortable talking about it either. Its normal. Some people I told I wish I never did. B/c they obviously didn't care or just didn't know how to respond.

I was gang raped by 6 guys when i was 14yo, it went on for the whole day.

I was raped by my BIL 3 times during my marriage.
My husband raped me many many times.

Sharing takes time, don't be so hard on yourself, just go with whatever feels right for you.

As a child, I witnessed a girl being gang-raped. This is one of the many reasons I come here to talk to the people here and make friends. I can tell you honestly I get no kicks out of reading these things. Every time I read a story, the images in my head make me feel awful, like it was me there, and just barely knowing what it must be like causes me to want to do anything I can for all of you.

I've yet to see anyone who seems to enjoy this, but if you ever meet anyone who does, just remember that all they've done is proven they are not even worthy of being called human.

The only joy I get from anything is making friends with you all. I find more happiness in that than any other part of my life. This is all I really live for.

If you are not feeling safe enough to post it publicly, understandably so, use your journal and keep it locked to just yourself or to your friends.
Telling your story can be healing and helpful. Having to worry about being victimized again while telling it is horrible.

However you share it, I hope it helps relieve some of the built up tension. Just keep in mind that if you feel the least bit uncomfortable in sharing it, you will add more tension to yourself by sharing it. So only do what feels okay. :)

No, I trust this site. It has been 6 yrs since my attack, so I am better at talking about it. BUT ONLY HERE and with my therapist. My therapist cant tell my family..my bf. my friends..

Just the thought of that is horrible, Jess. I can't imagine the evil in their minds. You know that feeling you get when you do something you know is really bad? That hole in your gut, like a void? I'd feel like throwing up if I were one of them.

I'm glad you are able to share and feel safe doing so. I've shared some things here at DS that I wouldn't tell my family either. I find comfort in it as well. I'm glad you can find any comfort at all.

I was involved in an attempted gang rape by 9 or 10 guys, I begged a passerby to help and he just stood there shaking his head and said "nah I don't want apart of that" - I remember it like it was yesterday and as I was reading these posts I had tears in my eyes - a cop car drove by two streets away from us and scared the guys off but then the passerby lead me to a park and finished me off. I'm not so ashamed to repeat this anymore as I know I did nothing wrong, I just question why and how another human being can stand by and watch that stuff happening and then turn around and rape - when he saw the fight and distress, I tear myself apart trying to figure out what was going through his head and I draw a blank each time and it just hurts my heart to know it happened.

I only just found this site the other day too, I was gang raped by five boys when I was sixteen. I've found there's no info on this sort of rape that helps and I've been looking for ten years. It's really helping me just to be able to talk about it to people who understand - and some that don't understand but want to. You can definitley keep your journal entries open only to your friends if you're uncomfortable - if you allow it they can comment that way.
