First of all, I'd like to say a huge kudos to you, because I have experienced a similar occurrence that but I never told anyone, I was lucky enough to be alone. The fact you could even look at him after that makes me so proud. I couldn't do it...
But the fact that he then divulged that information to someone else about something so sensitive during your time of need is unforgivable... You can do better than someone who doesn't treat you with the respect you deserve! Sorry doesn't always make things better. There is nothing funny about it and I can't believe that anyone would laugh at that...
I also find it a little unfair that he took you out of the house during your trial when you obviously felt safer at home, all of this does not show a great deal of understanding.
I know the laughter and distrust really hurts but I hope you can trust him never to do it again, and that his friend will keep it to himself... :/ If they don't they are awful people.
I'm sorry if any of that has offended... it's just that I've been with guys like this and I'd hate to think that you were suffering even more because he was being insensitive... :( I'm so sorry and I hope you're okay soon.
What you have to keep telling yourself is that it's not your fault. You have been through a lot and the fact that they can't be understanding is there problem. You couldn't help what happened and it's perfectly natural. Stay strong, and try not to be embarrassed. Easier said that done I know, but I know you can get there one day. *hugs* xxxx
My heart goes out to you.
