Breaking The Slience is an act of courage. That can lead to our. Healing. It Is important to Choose someone Trustworthy to share with a Therapist A friend a group of people who are recovering. someone who will believe us. Often Before we can do this we must break The slience we have kept withi ourselves.

great post sis!!! however you have never been raped..but you have been through abuse and other things...breaking the silence is not just for those who have been raped...to me breaking the silence is for thos of us that has kept our problems silent...have suffered in silent...went through pain in silent and etc...the reason why that logo deals with rape because a lot of victims do not tell anyone!!! because of fear ..shame..and other things!!! people that have been abused have suffered in silence. you have broke your silence!!! and your doing very well!! with dealing with the aftermath of the situation...and im so PROUD of you!!! for striving!!! like i always tells you...God has something for all of us to do!!! even though you we go through storms...if we were dead...we would not be here to tell our story!! to tell our testimonies!!! you cant have a testimonie without a TEST!!! and if you were dead...you wouldnt be able to find out what your ppurpose is!!! and you do have one!!! we all do!!! tell mom i said hi...

i been thru a lot as well. domestic violence, rape, molestation etc the list goes on. Now i suffer with disorders pertaining to my trauma. I am currently recieving help but that is after i broke the silence. I held it in for almost 10yrs and it ate me up inside.. I still need healing because i am not over this. but i applaud you for this topic of discussion since its such a hard one to talk about. keep moving forward :)
