Yes. Oh, unbelievably yes.
Which is why I've only said the words, "I was raped," twice.
Because if people I spoke to said things like, "Don't blame other people because you got drunk. Stop putting the blame on them and take some damn responsibility," and "Well, I guess you won't do that again, will you? Let it go," among many other things when I merely mentioned the sexual harassment by a group of 6 men, one drugging me while another tried to instigate them all to rape me, there is no way I'm going to tell anyone that those men actually raped me.
It's pathetic and disgusting the way we're treated, and it makes me sick.
The tears will never stop, and the pain will never go away, and it's outrageous that most of us will never get the help we need, or the support we need.

One counselor told me I had a body that said 'available'. I should have asked her to explain that instead of just looking at her.

Yes. Staying an evening with an engaged couple (thought they would be safe as they knew mypast and a trigger). We went to bed all 3 of us as a huge bed and they didn't want me to sleep on the sofe. In the middle of the night I woke up with the man r***ing me. I was in shock. I told my roommates and his fianc and they all said I lied about it. Needless to say a few weeks later he did it to his fianc and she believed me then. The whole thing made me want to die. I struggle with this everyday.
