I am just wondering if anyone else has this problem...
As some people might know i was raped last november by my mums boyfriend... It was a violent attack an di have issues hrough it.
Anyway i was out at the pub tonight and a guy started talking to me, which was okay because my couain was there, but then my cousin had pissed off to meet her bit on the side, this guy got quite aggressive and was pushing me up on the wall trying to kiss me, when i told him no he tried putting his hand up my top and unhooking mh bra, anyway i freaked out and flashedback which resulted in me kneeing him... In a delicate area and running towards the taxi rank.
Im just so paranoid, i dont know if this is normal behaviour for a guy or if it isnt and if i over reacted because of whats happened to me ? Im just so confused about it all.
Any advice/similar feelings please ??.

I don't think you overreacted. When you say no, a man should stop. I'm glad you knee'd him. He deserved it.

Sounds like he got what he deserved I would've hit him...no means no I hate when guys are touchy feely and don't stop when you tell them to back off

i don't think you are over reacting.. just two days ago while i was being physical with my boyfriend i had a flashback. it came from no where because my boyfriend is so kind and gentle and would never hurt me. but all the sudden i was back in the room where i was raped and it felt so real. i think it just takes a while to get over..

HEY , well done what courage that took . he deserved it and the fact that this person was physical with you could have triggfer flashbacks . here if you want tot alk take care

It can be the behaviour of a guy who is intoxicated. It is not alright for men to behave in such a manor but this is not a perfect world. I would make sure you be with someone reliable and responsible when you go to those places. Yes he did deserve it.

Plus I stay away from places where people get drunk. Other types of places might be a more positive atmosphere.
