Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
i was diagnosed with 2 large PE's on both lungs after suffering pain in neck, chest & back & trouble breathing (Thought I'd pulled a muscle!!) this only happened just over 2 weeks ago. I spent 4 days in hospital & im now on blood thinning tablets. I'm still on pain relief, but I'm concerned as I still have a lot of pain in my chest & upper back. This happens if I do anything, such as light house work or a bit of shopping. They believe it was my HRT. I'm only 45, but I've had a lot of gynae problems over the years & had a hysterectomy 8 yrs ago, so I've been on HRT since then. These have now been stopped

Nationalday.com proclaims September 28th as Self Aware Day. I took a few snaps of various core values lists and tried to pick my top five core values (kinda hard to only pick 5). But here are my top picks. Feel free to list a few of yours too:GodLovePeaceStability Compassion

Now that I am not talking to my whatever best friend, I realized that her life is full of drama. I had grown tired of hearing her stories about her boyfriend many months ago. She basically had been monopolizing conversations for that long too. She pretty much stopped asking me questions about me. I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...

Im sorry your going through the pain after PE - i was in the hospital February 14th for my PE's and it took me a full month of on and off pain to finally get to the point where I started feeling normal again. The past week and a half I've been doing really well with really no pain at all... It will get better - it honestly takes time and I hated hearing that. Don't push too hard - rest and drink a lot of water, don't think too much about it and stay distracted - you will feel better.
Dont rush your recovery. Everyone is different, and the amount of damage you have in your lung there is no surprise you are tired. People don't realise what a huge thing has happened! I am 6 months in and I have only felt normal for about a month. It has been a huge shock to your system, the circulatory system is so important, to disrupt it is a major problem. So don't rush, you'll feel ready when you're getting better.
On a side note, I was prescribed Rivaroxaban which made me feel absolutely exhausted. They switched me to apixaban and I felt better within a few days.
Hang in there, it gets better! Xx
