Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

it is really pretty and i can't wait to get it. check out their site as they have sport one too that would not get caught on something.

I think that you were very smart to get your bracelet so soon after your PE! Good job!
The problem with these would be----- the drive would have to be inserted into a computer type thingy. (Don't EMTs have a tablet or something like that?)
But I've also seen ones that can have something like 'COUMADIN' engraved on the outside---- a real quick id for emergency people.
I'm sorta a tech geek so I love the idea of the USB drive. (grin)

This site shows several different ways of wearing the USB medical ID.

When I went into hospital the second time, the doctors were surprised I had the bracelet. But I think it's vitally important for someone on blood thinners.
Besides, when I get back into the swing of things at work, I'll be traveling lots - noone around who'll know what's up with me if I can't speak for myself.
I ordered mine online from Universal Medical ID and it came within a week. I have a stirling silver one since I am on warfarin for life. It states I am on warfarin and lists my drug allergy as well. The only problem is the silver is wearing off where the engraving is (underside). Does anyone else have this problem?
