Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Also, I started having really bad leg and shoulder aches at one point. I went to the doctor and learned that my vitamin D levels were super low. My aches went away after I started taking vitamin d regularly and my levels got into normal range.
I'm not saying warfarin isn't the cause for you, just that sometimes we should step back and look at all the possibilities in our own situations to be sure there's not something going on.
Personally, I think it stems mostly from the trauma caused by the PE. I've now been diagnosed with highly probable Fybromyalgya, and I do have osteo-arthritis. Both can be triggerred and aggravated by a trauma.
Meds, any meds, can sometimes aggravate those symptoms and the fact that I am very restricted as to what I can take to manage the pains does not help at all!
Exercise helps a lot, as long as the pain is not flaring.
Hope this helps.

Good luck with your tests!
jog a little now I can't do those things anymore.
The doc's say it's just me getting older, I don't want both knees replaced and both shoulders done. That' I won't do. So I'm just doing the best I can.
