Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
For me, when I'm feeling lousy, I walk past all these things in the house that I want to do. That closet I need to organize, the shirt I meant to give to Goodwill, that project that'll take three minutes if I can just get to it. Anyway, when I do finally start to tackle that stuff, it can be SO life-affirming. I can always tell when I've been feeling lousy for a while and I've started to feel better ... I tend to organize and clean when I'm "reclaiming" my life. It makes me feel like I'm on top of things instead of lost in the chaos.
Always glad to hear that you're getting to some of the stuff that's probably been on your "list." It feels really good, doesn't it?
