Trouble with blood in urine

Has anyone experienced blood in their urine while on Coumadin? I have been for the past 3 weeks. I advised my doctor and she advised me to stay on my same dosage of 7mg and test my blood on Tuesday. My past 4 blood tests have been good and last Tuesday my INR was 2.5. I have no other symptoms and feel really good. The only different thing is a feeling of neck muscle pain but I did go back to work and my chair or desk may be bugging me. I also strained my neck when removing a large Rubbermaid tub from under the bed 3 weeks ago. I was diagnosed with bilateral PE's March 16/17. I was in the hospital for 11 days. My recovery has gone quite well and my last visit to my doctor in late April was very positive. My lungs were clear and my heart sounded normal again. The reason for the clots i.e. DVT, etc has not been found but further testing for cancer has all been negative. I take my Coumadin at 6:00 pm. My urine looks pretty much normal in the morning and darkens throughout the day as I get more active. I have a Doctors appointment on May 31st. I don't want to be on a drug that on one hand is helping me but on the other hand is harming me.

Is your urine red? Is the toilet paper red after wiping?

My urine can go from normal to darker yellow to orange to dark brown to pinkish/red, I've found that if I am more active the more it changes colour. I had a very active day yesterday and it was very red/dark. Today was a very quiet day and it was normal colour again. I will pass this info on to my Doctor. It's strange to say the least.

Forgot to answer the 2nd question. When my urine is really dark I can see it on the toilet paper but there doesn't ever seem to be distinguishable blood on the paper.

I did but quite differently from what you've described (visible red blood for several days). My doc did an immediate check for infection in her office and when that was negative a same-day kidney function test (she wouldn't let me wait overnight), a lab test for infection and a referral to a urologist for a bladder scope to rule out cancer the same week.

yeah I'd get wth your doctor and have your urine tested.

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
