This is a good group here with a lot of experience, so I'm really glad you find it helpful. It's nice that we can all be a light for each other.

5 days post hospital and the only tough challenge I have is with my right ankle. It is swollen and is killing me.......it has been swollen for over 2 weeks. Well.......that and my emotional ride......up n down! LoL.

I know what you mean. It was a life saver for me. I try to give back as much as I can, although not often, I will not forget this support group.

We should all do our best to get on, once in a while and reach out to someone. Give back. I came off my warfarin after one year in November of 2012. I had a DVT and massive PE's in my lungs. This group provided a lot of information and support. I have mentioned it to the hospital and asked to refer similar patients to this group.

I couldn't agree more. It is a scary time and to speak to the experts who have experienced it, researched it and have empathy for it is just priceless :-)

I found this group about a month or so after my pe's (2 yrs ago) and it was the bes thing I could have done. I had been researching to get more information, but it finally dawned on me to look for a support group with real people who had been through it. It absolutely saved my sanity for a while there. Still actually, even though I haven't been around as much as I used to.

I found that reading about other people's anxieties and fears has really helped to keep my anxiety levels in check.

The comments from regulars is absolutely great, but the comments from everyone are so helpful. I encourage anyone reading this to always respond if you see a post that relates to your situation or advice you can share. Every perspective is helpful.

I so agree! When I came home from the hospital I was full of fear and anxiety. You great folks on here calmed my fears with facts and shared experiences......so very helpful!
