By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I did a lot around the apartment yesterday. And even cooked a meal for my son and I. And didn't even take a nap!! And by last night, I still felt great. Even woke up feeling pretty good. And thought..."perhaps, the worst is over." I even went out to look at one thing at a Target sale. (And I don't do Black Friday). Now, I'm home and sitting at the computer and I'm tired!!! Yes, tired!!! And I want to lay down and rest. But then, I feel guilty that I'm not up and going again today. I'm weighing the options. I think it was good that perhaps I pushed a little yesterday. Got things done, had a great meal and know that there is light at the end of this tunnel. However, I think I should listen to my body...and perhaps rest today. And not see it as a weakness that I took a big step forward yesterday. And today, I need to recoup.
I'm hoping with a couple days of rest I'll be ok for work on Monday. And I hope for you with a couple days rest you too will feel great on Monday. Take it easy!! Have a cup of cocoa, sit in the recliner and maybe read a book or watch a movie. You deserve it!
