Never heard anyone having that from a PE on this board, that I can recall.

I just shake. Both arms and hands. Never had that before my PE's.

I'm trying to get my mind around how a PE would cause that specific issue. It's not that I don't believe you but I think it's likely related to something else, like maybe dehydration, stress, fatigue, caffeine, low blood sugar, medications, other illnesses such as hyperthyroidism (my mom had that because of her thyroid).

If you google shaking hands or tremors a ton of stuff comes up so there's lots of possibilities.

I did a search on "shaking right hand" and you are right: it could be caused by several things. The thing that concerns me most is that my tremor occurs while my hand is at rest, which is a specific symptom of Parkinson's, and that is something I REALLY do not care to think about at this point!

I haven't noticed it today, so am hoping it was just a fluke.

No I get you. I'd not want that either. If concerned get it checked out because if it would happen to be parkinson's you'd want that diagnosed early. I was just saying I don't think hand shaking is related specifically to a PE given the many things that can cause shaky hands. .

I had shaking in my hands after my PEs too, although mostly in my dominant (right) hand. I finally attributed it to anxiety and general fatigue. Once I noticed it, it got worse... thus the anxiety connection. I don't know how far you are out from your PEs, but I know pretty much every part of my body was fatigued, and just plain out of shape. For the first few months after my PEs, my hands would shake even when I was typing. Then when I started back to school one year post-PEs, the shaking started again. The first exam I took looked like a 5 year old answered the last few questions my hand was shaking so badly. It was so bad I actually went in to explain to my professor why my paper looked as bad as it did! I normally have very good handwriting, and even I had a hard time reading what I wrote. I found the more I used my hand to write, etc. the stronger it got, and I only notice the shaking now if I'm super anxious. I mentioned Parkinson's to my doctor at one point early in recovery and she laughed (nicely), and promised me I did not have Parkinson's. She did check all my reflexes, neurological responses etc. just to make me feel better! I really think 90% of my post-PE symptoms I can attribute to fatigue and anxiety, it's just much easier to see that further down the road. I had all kinds of wacky stuff going on for a while. The week after my PEs, the side of my face was completely numb, which sent me right back to the doctor... nothing wrong, just anxiety. It never hurts to ask your doctor... mine could probably write a book about all my random post-PE ailments, but I always felt better just with the reassurance that it wasn't something more serious.
