By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Went to work yesterday for the second time since my Pe in january. Did an eight hour shift and my body was in so much pain feet swelled up and chest pain was a 10 by the time i got home.
I will admit i was ready to go home after about 3 hours but i pushed through. They asked me to come in today for another 8 hour shift but i declined. I just couldnt do it.
I slept till about 11am today from 8pm yesterday. Normally i cant sleep i really was not ready to get up today but i had to get up to attend to my son since my husband had to do some work.
I think i asked this before but i cant remember. SoMy question is have anyone been able to get through working without being tired and in pain? And how long did it take to get your strength up and be able to work like before the pe.
I loved being there just like my first day back but its very tiring. I love my job im an medical assistant.

Thanks for your reply. I am trying to get back to my normal life which im finding is very hard.
I totally understand what your saying. I was in the hospital for 7 days when they first found my PE.
Every since then it has been very hard to deal with anything. But im slowly getting back to me and im doing better day by day.
I too have the heating pad its been my bestfriend since my doc told me thats about the only thing that will kinda help be4sides some pain killers which i dont wanna take. : )
