Pulmonary Embolism Support Group

By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I just got another message from some male who is looking for a "friend". It's not the first one, not even the second one. Maybe it shouldn't shock me, but give me a break people have nothing better to do than try and pick up people who have had Pulmonary Embolisms.

Usually, these people will just send out massive friend requests. And then there are the guys who say they really like your profile and feel like we'd be a good match. Seriously, I'm an old hag, dude. But it's because they're sending these to groups of females.

It would be like going to an AA meeting, a cancer survivor support group meeting, or a bereavement support group meeting to pick up people. Which is a funny premise, actually, but so pathetic.

I wish you could punch people in the face over the internet.

I swear I saw a movie like that once, where two "support group" junkies wound up falling in love because they kept going to the same support groups ... even though they didn't have any of the issues that the support groups for formed for.

TNT - the movie is Fight Club.

Great movie, if you get to the end. Most of the time I scratched my head saying what is this movie ABOUT but then you get to the end and it's all worth it - and begs for a repeat viewing.
