Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
All the best mr the runner
Exercise is your friend, you just need to build it up, I was in the same position where one set of stairs was a days worth of effort for me. I gradually did more and more, then could do that twice a day and now, just over 12 months out I can do walks of around 3 miles and be all right afterwards. It is all a build up.
Remember you won't be running a marathon tomorrow, but it won't stop you doing it in the future!
Get your results back and you'll know what can be done and what needs to be done.
Don't lose faith in yourself.
