I got that a for months after my PE. For me, I think it was related to not drinking enough and being a little dehydrated. I remember also having that feeling when I'd have a lot of anxiety, particularly in my arms and hands.

I was thinking that this hadn't really happened to me, but I remember one or two episodes like that. Once about six months after my PEs, I was at a theater watching a movie and suddenly my whole face felt weird and tingly. I felt like I was losing feeling and it really freaked me out a bit. Went away after 20 minutes or so and never happened again. Could have been anxiety or dehydration (I'd just had a massive tub of popcorn), I suppose, but with everything else I've had to worry about, I didn't focus on that and, as it never came back, I'm OK with that decision.

Same here. I'd have just little episodes. One time I was on the bus coming home from work and then it was like the top of my head was being pricked by thousands of needles. Of course I thought, dang, am I going to make it home? I just white knuckled it for the 20 minute ride and when I got home, it stopped. But I did have more few episodes like that.

I had that early on, especially in the back of the head. Most of the time if it happened it was meant a migraine was coming. I got on medication to help prevent the migraines instead of just having to treat with rescue meds 4 days a week and I stopped having the tingly head. I don't know if it was the warfarin or the shock and stress of having a PE that made my headaches worse but they were a lot more frequent and intense until I was referred to a neurologist that helped to get them under control.

I tend to worry because, for the past 2 weeks, my INR's been low and there's a huge history of stroke in my family: 3 grand-parents out of 4 had strokes!

I wonder if it's all part of the healing?
