Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I just joined, and know very little regarding the 'hows, whats, and why's of this group. I was diagnosed January 15th, 2015. What a life changer... I am younger than you said you are, but I have been through a lot in the past 2.5 years. If you need advice, I might be able to help.. . And maybe not, but I can try.
I joined myself today, as the last few days have been troubling, (health wise) and today from a wound in my leg, a clot came out.
I am fearful and I will call my doctor tomorrow.
Back to you. Ask and I will tell you if I know. If I don't, I'll tell that
I will keep you in my prayers and respond if you would like.
Swanone ☺
I will also pray for health and wholeness for you as well. I appreciate you sharing your experiences with me.
