Yep, that's me in a nutshell and although I too have been convinced there is something else really wrong with me, after 4 months I am doing my best to realize it really IS just anxiety. When I go to sleep anxious, I sleep with my muscles really tight, in fact sometimes will have fingernail marks in my palms which tell me I'm making some pretty tight fists during the night. It is not uncommon for me to wake up with various numb and pins and needles body parts. My doctor said this is NOT something to worry about unless it doesn't go away after I'm up and moving around for a bit. Unfortunately, I suffer from severe panic disorder, which I had long before my PEs. The PEs have just brought it back in bigger than life form and it has completely taken over my life again. I'm starting to realize the PEs are a huge challenge for me, but the psychological aspects (esp. the panic) is much worse. I make a list of every odd sensation that throws me into a panic and take it with me when I go to my doctor. For the first couple weeks after my PEs I was literally going over a full page of symptoms with her. Now I notice that even though I write them down, by the time my appointment rolls around there are really only a few things left that are concerning enough to bring up. This is going to be a long, uphill battle for both of us, I'm afraid, but if you ever want to talk, just message me. I completely understand what you're going through!

I was hospitalized after a doctor ignored symptoms of a respiratory infection that I repeatedly reported to him. The hospital gave me Zithromax.

What kind of breathing treatment did they give you? Albuterol?

Who exactly told you to increase your anxiety meds?

Cipro can be a VERY difficult abx for many to take. It has the infamous black box warning on the insert packaging. The problem with that warning is it concentrates on 'tendonitis' as it's worst side effect---- and that IS very true. However Cipro can cause many other adverse side effects.

(In your case-----since you'll only be on it a short while---- you may not have to be concerned.)

Just a brief look at all the class action suits against Cipro will give a clue----- and yes, those attorneys might be called 'ambulance chasers' ----- but where there's smoke...............

Cipro made my face numb! This was years before my PE and warfarin, so not related, but bad side effect from cipro.
