Its weird you say that, I get it too ?

I've had neck issues for years since I was a little kid. I get a kind of tight, woozy feeling in my neck now and it is generally connected to dehydration or exhaustion. Heat helps a little and so does lying down. But, of course, everyone is a little different so hard to say exactly what it might be.

When I was early on in recovery I had a strange sensation also in my neck as well as often a washing type feeling down both arms simultaneously. As you say, it wasn't painful and wasn't even uncomfortable, just a strange sensation. I talked to my doctor about it because I'd never experienced anything like it before PE, and while he was very experienced with PE patients, he had no idea what it was either, and he checked my neck out, which didn't seem to have any problems, but that was his best guess that from so much lying down and just being in generally strange positions during recovery that something in my neck got messed up. For all it's worth, though, I still don't agree that that was the reason for the sensation but what do I know....I'm just the patient.....Anyway, it eventually became less frequent and although I do still get it from time to time, it happens like once every few months rather than several times a day.

Wow funny you mention it, I recall a similar sensation. First it was strange pain/tightness in my neck, then the next time it happened it was shooting from my arms and up my neck. The only reason I remember was this was such an odd sensation for me and I'd never experienced it before. I don't recall exactly but it was within 6 months of my DVT/PE.

I do find alot of people talking about feelings/sensations/experiences that I have had that are unexplainable and hopefully one day there will be a reason or answer for it. It always makes me wonder.
