By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I wanted to wish everyone a good Memorial Day weekend. Just remember why we have the day.
I live in NE, and we are enjoying great weather. Doesn't matter where you are in your recovery get out and enjoy the fact that you lived.

I am celebrating by taking my first bike ride after the second round of PEs tomorrow! The wife is nervous but I'll be safe :)

I also live in NE and it is beautiful. This evening my husband wants to take me golfing. He got me a club set for my birthday a couple of years ago. I had talked about learning. My husband remembered a lot of things I had talked about after the DVT and PEs.

The rest of the weekend I have to work, but only till mid afternoon. Still time to have family over. The kids love it when mom and dad cookout!

Today, my husband , kids and I took a road trip to Madison for the day. Tomorrow, going for a bike ride. The weather in Milwaukee has been superb.

Just watched a show on this history channel about WWII. What we do to each other never ceases to shock me. My heart breaks for every person who ever had to kill another person in combat. I can't imagine what that does to a human being.

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
