Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I had my PE about 1 month ago after surgery on my foot, and was taking heparin for a little bit and now just warfarin. I have been debating for the last few days whether I should go to the ER or not. I am NOT short of breath but my lungs just feel like they are really tired. Its kinda hard to explain, but I almost feel like I do when I go in steam rooms or when I went to Mexico, like its too humid to breath. I noticed I feel like this each time my INR goes below 2 and then one its back up I am fine, but this time it is lasting a little bit longer. I am just wondering if it is normal for the lungs to feel tired and if anyone else experienced something like this?

Now that I am not talking to my whatever best friend, I realized that her life is full of drama. I had grown tired of hearing her stories about her boyfriend many months ago. She basically had been monopolizing conversations for that long too. She pretty much stopped asking me questions about me. I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...

I've been off work for the last few days because I've been having a hard time breathing too. It is getting better although no one seems to know exactly what is causing it.
Honestly, I felt worse four weeks after diagnosis than I did when I landed in the hospital with the PEs in the first place. I think I was just pushing it too hard and wound up with increased exhaustion and pain. I rested a lot and that helped.

If this starts happening after you learn your INR is below 2, I wonder if you're experienceing anxiety, which can cause SOB, heart racing, all that stuff. That could be why your pulse is at 140 and then after all the tests are completed, it's normal.
I'm not dismissing your symptoms as anxiety; I'm just saying, the physical response to being anxious is really powerful and so many of us have gone through that. It may be a possibility.
