Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
unbelievable. i saw the retinal specialist today in the field 15 years. i heard the words yet again this is something i have never seen in all my years of practice. i get this al lot. initially when it happened about five minutes before i noticed the loss of vision i got an instantaneous 10+++ migraine the i noticed the loss of vision. went to ER the dr wrote it off to an ocular migraine. the migraine part felt familiar but the loss of sight was like nothing i had ever experienced so as soon as the ophthalmologist office opened i was on the phone and he said i had a huge cataract but he thought he saw something wrong with the vessels so that is why i say the retinal specialist. after a boatload of test it was determined i did not have a migraine i had had a mild stroke what is causing most of the loss of sight is that plaque broke off and landed in front of the retina. the cataract can be removed but the plaque can't so he is unsure how much return of sight i will get. he said he has never seen plaque settle in the eye like that. i can just hear it when i see my PCP in two weeks given our last conversation Monday was i have never seen any one with so many odd never seen before anomalies. wait till he feasts his eyes on this .

Man! You have really been through the wringer with all this! It sounds stressful and I hope you are pampering yourself a little bit in the meantime. I hope they come up with some sort of solution for this. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Wow, Chi, my heart goes out to you. Since they think it was a stroke, I hope you will also get to a cardiologist a.s.a.p. and get things checked out. Hopefully you can get a lot of your vision back. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
