By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

One of the things that I did, that was helpfully was to walk. At first just 5 mins to a light pole and back, then another light pole. I Live across from a Fire Station where I had gone with my short of breath for their oxygen and went in ambulance to the hospital from there..
At first I would walk up and down on the street always near the Station. I always had my cell phone on me I left the door unlocked and slept with my clothes on with my cell in my pocket, charger in a to go bag. Soon I went to a shopping center and walked with a shopping cart. Having my arms up holding the handle made it easier to breath. Being in the shopping center kept me near people and bathrooms and some cover in case of rain. I also hung out at the donut shop to take a break. I'm 8 months out now and doing well. Walking worked for me for the conditioning and the anxiety. I empathize with you here, I think of you guys daily, keep the spirits up, Hope this helps.

Got some reassurance that everything's going to be alright if I have compression stockings on and eventually, the Venowave.
Have been okay without worrying about the cellphone signal and taking my dog out in the woods in which the trail leads to a small lake. The view is enough to keep my spirits up.
