Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Background: i use to think all this condition of mine started because of the use of valium 5mg, because i had a problem of excessive night falls and i was an athlete, because of the nightfalls i used to feel fatigued and used to have lower back pain so i thought to seek a sexologist, unfortunately in our city we do not have any sexologist, so for the cure i went to a gynacologist, he gave me valium 5m and asked me take it half in morning half before sleeping i did the same, but after taking it for 3 months i had attacks while sleeping for two times attack was like my blood is flowing backward and it made me wake up even in sleep i went to emergency but all were normal but after six months i had another attack while playing it was a sharp stabbing pain and its like i was going through a heart attack and from that day till now i feel all these symptoms that i mentioned.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
Any chance you suffer from anxiety or panic attacks? Some of the symptoms you describe align with that. No idea what a sexologist is or why a gynecologist would be necessary. Are you a male? Your profile says so which makes that really confusing.
Since you’ve been to the ER and couldn’t find anything, I would find a really good internist who can get a health history, do a complete physical and get his opinion. If he suspects a heart condition he’d refer you to a cardiologist. If you think you have a pulmonary embolism, a DDimer test (simple blood test) can rule out a PE if the test results are normal. If if the results show an elevated DDimer result it could be from an infection, inflammation, clotting etc. Because there are many reasons a DDimer can elevated, it can’t diagnose a PE, but it can be used to evaluate against other symptoms and if more tests are need to confirm a PE.
I had a PE and while everyone’s symptoms can vary, I had very little chest pain before I was diagnosed. I just felt my chest was heavy. I couldn’t breath, pretty much at all, and eventually I just collapsed.
An internist is a doctor of internal medicine and to me better equipped to treat adults with chronic conditions or complex conditions vs say a family practitioner. But clearly you’ve seen specialist.
Wish we couple help you here but we all either recently were diagnosed with a Pulmonary Embolism or had a diagnosis in the past. I don’t mean to sound blunt but if you think you have a pulmonary embolism, it likely would have killed you by now, considering it sounds like this has been going on for a while.
I hope you can find some help. If you are feeling depressed and having dark thoughts, you need to get help for that.
