By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I hit the top of my head really bad and saw stars aside from knot and soreness I am ok just worried because of Coumadin I run low 2.0. I don't have a headache just sore.

My doctor, knowing I'm a klutz, told me if I ever hit my head more than a mild bump, that I was to call her (unsaid was the part that she would weigh my description of the accident and my symptoms and decide what I should do). I worry because last year my father smacked his head hard enough to see stars and ended up with a subdural hematoma (and he wasn't on coumadin). I'm a bit of a worrywart, I tend to be overly cautious. if it was me I'd be seeking a medical opinion. Good luck.

You could just call your doc and ask what he thinks. I probably wouldn't worry about it based on what you describe, but that's me.
