By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Anybody remember the address for that great article on what to expect when you get home from the PE? I got this wonderful 2 sheets on PE from the hospital, which told me NOTHING that I didn't know. But I remember when I first came here I was directed to a wonderful site on what to expect. I forgot how VERY hard this can be. I have NO strength and I am sleeping all the time. Add this to the heart, kidney and asthma issues and I'm wiped out. And this time, with any exertion I have pain in my chest. Last time the pain went away in a few days...this time it's staying. And I'm trying to "behave myself". I am not in the best living situation and that doesn't help. My parents have no clue how this feels or what is involved. My mom had a leg clot over 57 years ago, but she does not understand why I "look" o.k., but I go from the bedroom to the kitchen and have to take a break before getting my juice.

This time, I'm already off work, since I had to file for social security disability...but I have to find projects so I don't go stir crazy. So, I need to pull out everything I learned last time.
Please be careful putting pictures of children on the net.
In the file there is much information under properties including the gps coordinated of the location were the picture was taken. So if it was taken at your house with a celll phone someone could find her.

I didn't know that GPS info can be found from a patient pic/cell phone? Is that really true? I belonged to a group (different illness) where people would put their address (!!!!!) One woman put a pic of her really cute little 3-4 year girl with her lacy panties showing. (!!!!!)

I learned how to take a pic on mine too (duh)---- and it's SO simple.
Another use for a cell phone is in case you get into a fender bender. A friend got right out and started snapping pics so the there was proof of what happened.
