By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
IMHO, if you're having some every day, there's no reason you can't have it with warfarin. If it causes your numbers to go up, your dose can just be adjusted down for the remainder of the time you're on it.
If you're really concerned, check in with your pharmacist as well and ask what they know.
There are a lot of foods and drinks that may affect INR for coumadin/warfarin users, however, most specialist will concur that as long as these foods/drinks are within moderation and part of the daily diet your INR will adjust accordingly. There are patients however that may find that their INR just will not remain stable no matter what and may need to either eliminate all foods with vitamin K or stop drinking cranberry juice or switch to one of the new oral anticoagulant that is not affected by foods/drinks (other than possibly grapefruit which physician believe does not adversely affect how Xarelto work but may decrease it's effectiveness to some degree).
