Fainting spell last night

I'm trying to figure out if this is anything to be concerned about. Last night, I got up from the sofa and went to the basement and came back up the steps. After a minute, my ears began to roar, I got spots in front of my eyes and I experienced weakness of my legs. I felt dizzy, faint and weak. I laid down on the sofa right away and let it pass for a few minutes. Then I tried to go upstairs to my bedroom and i started feeling the same way. After being in bed for a little bit, it seemed to pass and I fell asleep. But today, I still hear a slight ringing in my ears and I have shortness of breath and fatigue. I just don't feel quite right.

It's been two months since my PE and I have been feeling much better but I'm not sure if the episode I had last night has anything to do with my PE.

I've had a slight sinus problem for over a month. My warafin was increased to 6 mg a day because the last INR was only 1.61.

Has anyone else experienced this? I remember having 2 small episodes like this a couple of weeks before my PE. But they weren't as bad and didn't last as long and I ignored them.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Please call your Dr as soon as they open today. This is Friday, and Christmas week, next week, a lot of doctors will have less office hours & some will not be there at all for a week, like mine. When I had my PEs,I fainted twice that day..the only thing that got my attention to call the Dr was that my pulse was 140 and I was SOB too. If you had a sinus infection that made your INR go down below 2, you definitely need to get this checked with an examination by your Dr or the ER, before the madness of Chritmas week. It could be nothing, but needs addressed by your Dr ASAP. Good luck. Hope you are OK, let us know what the Dr says!

I ditto calling your doctor. I've also had the same thing happen to me quite a few times and I've actually passed out several times. I was supposed to have tests done on my heart last month but didn't so I'm going to hopefully have that done in January.

I have increased my water intake and I haven't been having the fainting spells or dizziness as much lately until last night when I nearly passed out again. But I aslo do have some major stomach issues that haven't been figured out yet which may be causing the fainting.

Please call your doctor and get their advie too, they may want you to go in and get checked.

i have similar symptoms as you described. I have low ferritin level (iron stored in bones) although by iron level and hemoglobin are within normal level. I call them my "iron fits" . I get chills with mine, my legs go weak. If you have any longterm blood loss from your cycle, you should check out your iron levels and make sure they include the ferritin. I was but on BC pills to regulate the blood loss and that is what caused the clots. I also have low INR and am on 10 mg 5 days & 12.5 mg. 2 days doses of coumadin each week. good luck to you.
