Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I can't lose a pound to save my life right now, yet I am not doing much in the way of exercising. :)
I think if you'd been sedentary for a while (and I think you also smoked, correct?) getting active can kind of boost up that metabolism, not to mention the eating right.
Eating a HUGE part of losing weight and if you've gone from a not-so-clean to a clean diet, I would think that much weight loss could be possible. :) I do agree that getting a physical and blood work might help ease your concerns.
Congrats!
I'd like to lose about 20. But it will take me a lot longer than 3 months!
I am probably eating healthier than I was before. I really don't need to lose any weight. I am having more good days than tired ones but I really need to watch that I don't overdo it. I drag the next day. I am ou now about 3 and 1/2 months.
I just keep on trucking, My son's favorite expression.

Doing that kind of switch with everything might explain the weight loss. Of course, checking in with your doc might be good if you're having stress about it.
Surprisingly, I kept that weight off for over three months. I had no appetite at all and had to force myself to eat during that time, though. Once I went back to work I started eating more and gained it all back.
Since then, I've lost it all again (and hope to lose 30 more pounds) by reducing my soda and junk food consumption and drinking green smoothies twice a day. (I'm no longer on warfarin so I eat/drink kale with abandon!)
I also went from training for half marathons to NO activity for the last 4/5 months.
Just now getting back into it all.
