Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

the pulmonologist said I am doing as good as can be expected where I am. I've been making more hours at work and again, she says "listen to your body".
I saw the cardiologist today and I'm still grounded from higher elevation and/or leaving the city. Again she said I'm where I need to be in recovery...and "it takes a LONG time". I am allowed to walk to the mailbox which is at the end of my complex and twice a week I can walk around Walmart as exercise. I'm still not allowed to go back to cardiac rehab, as my heart rate is still a concern. With my heart condtion...I have to take it slow. She figures by six months I should be able to go back to cardiac rehab.

Slow but steady. You are improving and that's good. How are things going at work?

We have a new function which is not as stressful. But still talking 8 hours a day gets to me. And learning the new function was somewhat stressful. I only made six hours today. But I'm trying to follow the doctors orders.

are you in a call centre? i work in a call centre but havent returned to work yet - i am thinking i might go back next week but talking for any length of time really takes it out of me and im just not sure im ready/will manage it yet

Yes, I work in a call center and I am having a very hard time. At least 2 or 3 times a day I start coughing and have to leave until it stops. By the end of the day, my voice is rough and it gets harder and harder to breathe as the day goes on. Neither one of my doctors thought I should go back yet. But I ran out of paid leave...so there I am. To help get me through, I suck on peppermint hard candy. It seems to make it easier to talk.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
