Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Hello - I need some feedback from all you lifers out there. My INR has been slowing trending down. This past week it was 1.9 (on 36mg of warfarin a week - easier to give you the weekly total rather than the daily recipe). My doctor said it could be trending down because I have eaten more greens lately and I have been walking 3 miles three times a week. So they upped my dosage to a total of 39.5 a week.
Since this increase (it has been 3 days) I have noticed that I am more tired, have bouts of dizziness, and a nagging low grade headache.
My question is - could this be related to the increase in my warfarin? I remember feeling a little bit like this when I was first put on oral warfarin after my discharge from the hospital. But then again we all know how anxious we can get with any change in our physical wellbeing!
So do you think it is due to the increase in meds and I will adjust like I did when first put on it or do you think it is my raging anxiety rearing it's ugly head again, or a combination of both??
Thanks for your support, you are the only people that understand what I am going through :)

I think it could be warfarin, anxiety or both. My INR dosages are increased and decreased all the time, and I don't get dizzy from it or feel any different, honestly, but some people may be more sensitive to the change.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
