Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Polar Vortex!!! It's still hanging over Wisconsin today where I live. So pleasant.
You would also think that the cold weather would kill a lot of these bugs going around but I guess this year is nasty flu season, here in alberta the h1n1 is epidemic they said so I was worried and got the flu shot, hope it will help easy any virus's I may get this year :).
I always think that too, that it's so flipping cold that surely it would kill any bacteria or virus in its path but apparently that's not how it works, ha ha! I'm used to cold weather considering where I live but this recent cold snap just wears you down. I know you have been hurting too in your neck of the woods. Yesterday we finally got to 0 degrees and I found myself almost giddy with the balmy warm up.
Temp increases are on the way, so things are looking up!
