By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
This is going to sound like a weird question, since I am only 21, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not it is okay to get botox while on warfarin? I am looking into it to help with a Medical problem (hyperhidrosis), not for vanity reasons, so don't think I am trying to freeze my face into a surprised look or anything lol. Aside from maybe some bruising, I was thinking that it would be alright considering I am already getting poked by tons of needles every week for blood work, and really I don't think the needles are any different from those. If anyone knows whether it would be okay or has personal experience with it I would love to hear it. Thanks.
