I don't know if you are on oxygen or live in a low humidity area but I've experienced it many times due to th fact that I'm both on oxygen and live in a desert and my home healthcare nurse told me not to worry about it unless my nose was streaming blood, the flects and clot looking stuff just show up due to your sinuses being irritated. As always though if you're concerned check with your doctor... its usually better to be safe than sorry :)

This happens a lot to me, but I have sinus issues. Gets worse in the winter when it is really dry. My asthma and allergy doc had me putting olive oil in there before I went to bed with a q-tip.

1.4 is still higher than the average person, so it would make sense that you're slightly more susceptible to bloody noses than usual. Unless you're gushing blood, it probably isn't a problem.

Happens to me all the time- bloody snot, because I have sinus and allergy issues, but I notice is most in the winter because it's so dry in the house with the heat on. But I've had this issue even before I was on warfarin.

Like TNT said, if it's gushing or won't stop, that's more the issue.

I have to agree, I have the same problem, but I've had it for years. It's a sinus thing and especially in the dry weather. Wait...it's dry out here all the time. But my nose has done that for years. I thought they were talking gushing blood is a sign of a problem. That I don't have.

I've also had blood every time I blow my nose. I haven't been worried as it stops almost immediately. Just figured it was part of the package while taking Warfarin. Good luck! :)
