By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. I use Thera heat wraps to help with arthritis pain. There are days that I would give anything if I could take an aleeve.
The heat wraps help but you have to be careful and not keep them on too long.

Took only one pill, it makes a BIG difference.
As for hot and cold pads, because my osteoarthritis is generalize, I would have to soak in it. Cold exacerbates it. But heat helps, as long as I don't overdo it: if I do, it makes it worse.
Tylenol doesn't even touch the pain :(
