By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Hi all,
I have had kidney stones in both kidneys for the last month...very painful all dr's can do is give me more pain meds...which is quite boring now...but just yesterday I went to ER because of very bad pain, turns out I had a kidney infection and UTI due to stones......anyone else out there getting these types of problems...it seems that everytime I feel a little better...boom...something else happens....I want to be done with it!!
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ouch! I too suffer from recurring kidney stones and have passed them on 4 different occasions. It has now been 2 years since my last event. I drink crazy amounts of water (11/2 gallons) every day and that seems to be helping to prevent them. In the past they have occured when it was hot weather and I was dehydrated. The last time they had to go through the ureter to help bring it down. Really painful and hope this passses quickly for you.

Thanks Richard....responses do make you feel better....I hate being sick....almost six months only though...I will be tested next month to see if I can come off the coumadin....

I get UTIs all the time, but I'm not sure why I've been getting them so frequently the last couple of years, but I am going to a Urologist on Wednesday to find out. I figure I may as well because it's gotten to a point where my Dr. has an unlimited supply of antibiotics waiting for me at my local pharmacy and there has got to be a better way to handle this. I'm 22 and extremely sick of always being on meds. I'm hoping I can get better answers from a Urologist as to why I am having all of these problems now. Good luck! My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
