By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
So I kept hearing I would bruise easily, have bruises pop up, go black and blue from whacking my knees.
Last INR was 2.0 and pretty stable. I've hit my elbow and my knee - HARD. kept expecting to see bruising, but they've never popped up. I know the INR is OK, so it doesn't freak me out (much......). Just wondering if others have the same experience.

I have an appointment at the clotting clinic tomorrow and will ask if it is a problem and let you know.
