Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

After diagnosis and being told I'm on warfarin for life, I know that meant I'd never play hockey again. Hockey is my life and that killed me so ever since then I have been trying to find a way around this. I think I've finally got an idea and I'm looking for people in my same situation who can no longer play because of blood thinner. If this applies to you or anyone you know, please have them email me at bcs_dunn44@yahoo.com.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can't recall if there were hockey players on the DVT group but it may be worth it to reach out on that group as well since they're dealing with anticoagulants as well.
