Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Do you feel unwell? There are a few things like thyroid that can affect weight. Maybe worth mentioning to the doc next time you see him/her.
@TossNTurn - Yeah! I was gaining weight in the beginning for a few weeks and just feeling sluggish and then all the sudden I couldn't stop losing weight. Now I am overeating all the time and still can't seem to put any weight back on! Not that I necessarily want to, I have been wanting to lose weight for years, but definitely a little worried about what health implications this has.
If it is concerning you though, I would definitely ask your doctor about it.
Still feeling fatigued all the time....anyone got some good suggestions for that?
-scheduling time for a full night's sleep
-taking exercise breaks throughout the day (10 minute walk when I start to fall asleep at the computer)
-avoiding sugary and processed foods
Do talk to your dr. if you continue to loose weight without trying.
