Some things to try: Glycerin twice daily. You can use right out of the bottle or mix with water and spray on. Some people apply glycerin first then rub on a little vaseline. ( I use vapo-rub because it helps with the itch). You have to stick with this not skipping any days but should get P under control. Very inexpensive at Walmart or health food store. I have heard Glycerin works better in high humidity climates and not so well in dry. I don't know.

Turmeric seems to help a lot of people as do cold showers if you can stand it.

Unless you live in a very dry climate, try the glycerin for several weeks. It is not an overnight cure. I purchased a 32 oz bottle three months ago and use it on my entire body only using about a fourth of the bottle. Cleared me up except when I get lazy and stop using. Cost me 12.00. WOW.

Glycerin is truly a great thing if you can remain consistent with it~ I have read many success stories with people that apply it twice a day! And like DryDuck said, it is very cheap and available at Wal-Mart! Good luck to you and I'd let the pharmacy keep those $200-$400 bottles of shampoo! For that price, there better be a cure in those bottles!

You can contact the drug companies about your prescriptions. Most of them do have programs that will either supply the medicine to you or help you pay for it. Hope this helps.
