Hi everybody..
For months I've been trying to figure out what's going on with me. I believe I have Psoriac Arthrits but I have to wait until October to see a Rheumatologist and my GP is not very helpful.
I've have always been told that rashes are just Eczema. I've had symptoms of Psoriasis since I was 6 years old. It started on the back of my ears. As I got older these rashes have shown up and reappeared all over several parts of my body. I've been using cortisone creams forever and they just don't work anymore. I recently had a baby almost 8 months ago. Durning my pregnancy my rashes became horrendous and a month post partum my rashes became unbearable! I believe I have inverse psoriasis along with some other type as I get itchy scaly rashes on my eyelids, in my eye brows, hairline, chest, elbows, legs, hands, under arms, lady parts, natal clef and under my boobs. The last 4 have been so bad since January I wanted to cut my skin off.. It itched to the bone.
I'm seeing a new doctor and all she looked at was my elbows and said it was eczema?!? Even though I complained more about other parts.
I've also had pain in several parts of my body. Started in my feet. I had a bunion correct on 1 foot 3 years ago already and my toes on tht foot are now turning to the right. The toe feels like it has never really healed from surgery and is often visibly swollen. The other big toe on the other foot is not as painful but 2 months ago out of the blue grew a big cyst on top of the first knuckle. GP says it's probably just a ganglion cyst.
I hands are the most effected recently for the past year and few months ago I couldn't use my left hand anymore because of the pain and swelling. It's now better but still tender and coincidently my rashes have dissipated and I'm clearing up. I'd like to mention I also have mid to lower back pain, hip pain, knee pain and wrist pain. I've had these pains on and off for years but haven't gotten help for anything thinking I had just over done things. I like to be active. Golf, yoga, hiking, skiing..
My immunoglobulin A was really high but all other blood tests like anti ccp RF ANA were all negative. On my sixth week of waiting for ENA results.
So after all that I'm wondering what I should do next? I was wondering if I should request an MRI or something similar or a referral to a Dermatologist to get a Paoriasis diagnosis?!
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired and feeling like I'm being dismissed! If this is Psoriac Arthritis and is going to get worse and I continue to lose the ability to walk or use or extremities I'm not going to be ok with that. My mom has MS.. I was worried it could be that but I don't have the symptoms! Any suggestions or thoughts?!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I was covered in sores from head to toe, every inch of my body is scally and inflamed, except my face.Yes, like you CanadianRA, I was so desperate that I wanted to take a knife to skin myself, after not having any sleep for 2 months. I was going insane, the itch drives me crazy even though I swallowed that many antihistermine pills. This is only the skin part or my story, I also developed arthritis, so bad that I kept dropping things while cooking, drop my pots most of the time... can't get out of my car, can't get down the stairs.. oh so pitiful...feels like 40 going 80s. No doctors could help me. They say no cure, learn to live with it. What a BS!!!
To cut my story short, I finally nailed it. Got it all under controlled 3 years ago. I send my blood work for an IGG test, intolerance food test.
They send me the results, a list of foods to avoid. I started from there... eliminate all those foods completely... The skin starts to clear, the aches and pain went.
I got back my nails, grow lush beautiful hair again, skin cleared but left some bad scaring. Best of all, got back my mobility, I can run, and jog, no more aches and pain. No Medication. Besides dieting, I took extra supplements like MSM, collagen drink for healing and sealing the guts. Constant detox is the best way to deal with the whole situation.
I am here to encourage all of you that there is hope after all. I have nailed it, so can you. Do give up, seek for your cure.
