Ok this worked for me. Its your diet! No grains, flour products, sugar, jarred coffee (organic ground coffee doesn't seem to affect psoriasis) dairy (but you might get away with eggs). No red meat except lamb. Two months if your the sam eas me it will be gone.

Hey Alex, Sorry to hear about your horrors. But I have one thing I've not read here, at least in recent posts. I've had run of the mill plaque psoriasis for like 25 years now. It was never bad and easy to control with the creams and wrapping with plastic wrap. However, this year, I now have guttate psoriasis all over my body and my plaque psoriasis has gotten worse and very hard to "control" and I use that term loosely. This summer I was to go to a family event and hated the way my psoriasis looked on my legs. It's in texas so I would be wearing shorts. About a month prior, I got an STD and had to get a large shot of penicillin. I couldn't believe it, but it really cleared up my psoriasis during the family event. But all this leads me to what is going to happen this coming monday. A family friend, her son was about your age and developed psoriasis, bad. His dermatologist determined it may be his tonsils. He had them removed and his psoriasis completely cleared up. This year, I had to get a new dermatologist and he really wasn't up on me and my psoriasis but when I brought up the penicillin shot and my friends psoriasis going away from a tonsillectomy, he said it really has to do with the type and what he described was guttate psoriasis. I lifted up my shirt and said "you mean like this"? He said yes. The long and short of it is he, his colleagues and my ENT all agree this is my best course of action and this monday, I'm going to have my tonsils removed. I'm now 60, but in really good health. I've heard of this really happening more to people your age but my dermatologist says it can happen at any age. The last thing was this last christmas, I was out of town and by the time I got home, got very sick with the flu. I've not been that sick in probably 30 years. I'm assuming that was the onset. Lastly, I did have a strep test and it was negative but my doctor still believes this may be the cause, bacteria or virus in my tonsils. It might be something you may want to investigate. Yes, there is a connection. Google strep, tonsils and psoriasis and you will find a wealth of information. If interested, I will follow up with my results though they will take 2-4 months to see if this works. I'd be happy if it went back to where I was a year ago. Take care. Mickey

Hey Guys, I came here looking for help for a long time friend of 15yrs, I knew he suffered with eczema but only on his lower back and a couple on his fingers, well just a few days ago he show me how bad it gotten,, OMG he's dark skinned and has these darker marks all over his legs almost resembled tattoos, I asked had he been tested for STDs and he said yes, but I did notice he's always clearing his throat, he isn't using anything over the counter, I wish I could help him.. he's in his thirties.
