If you haven't been to a dermatologist I suggest you do! I went today because I was positive I had it. I researched it 24/7. When I went to the dermatologist the told me that it was " tinea versi color" its a fungus! its on my legs and when it is irritated its raised and red and ITCHES!!! When its not irritated its like white spots. and you use a perscription shampoo to get rid of it. It can be cleared but it most likely comes back. But its much better than psoriasis. So if you havent been diagnosed I would definetly go!

Meg08, that is very interesting. Maybe I don't have psorisis. I have the same spots that you have described. Do you know if "tenea versi color" has the same appearence as psorisis. Well I have a doctors appointment in Sept. I will ask. Thanks for the info.

When my daughter was little (preschool) she was taken out of school because the nurse swore she had ringworm. I told them her dad had PS but Her pediatrician felt it was ringworm. later, her dermatologist said it was eczema or psorasis but he could only tell if he did a painful biopsy. She was 4 so we opted out. Finally in Kindergarten after fighting with the school that she did not have ringworm (agian!) she finally broke out everywhere in guttate and they diagnosed that condition as psorasis. Her age made the doctors skeptical (the lesions started at 3, she is 10 now with moderate PS). I just wanted to say that from my experience it is possible for medical professionals to have trouble at first.

Just looked it up, it looks so different from P, ive been diagnosed by both dr and dermatologist but i cant understand how health professionals could get the wrong diagnosis, they both look very different to each other

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
