No shampoo will help as far as I know. This is an automimmune disease. I have noticed that some naturals moisturizing shampoos do help a bit. The sun used to help me, but even that has stopped to be as effective. Best of luck.

There is no offense taken by your question. Yes, I am affiliated with this company. I am one of the owners and the creator of the products. It came into being after I lost my leg to an MRSA infection in 2004 and I wanted to take my disability and use it as a positive in my life. Unfortunately every body seems to think it is always about the money when it comes to trying to help people with our products. I can assure you it is not. I had many infections after my amputation so I created products to help with this problem. No one else had done anything for amputees up to this point with all natural products. I found that they helped my psoriasis as well and came up with a salve that seems to work well with many issues of psoriasis, especially itching and inflammation. Depending on the case it can be effective and very helpful. I tried my best to simply let people know that their was help available and all I got was grief and was accused of prying on folks on this site. If it were true then my partner and I never would have given out over 1280 free samples to folks on this site. We spent thousands of our own money and never charged any one a dime for S & H. We truly wanted to help people who were suffering with these afflictions to realize there were people out there that cared and wanted to help. Once we ran out of samples all I got was grief. We never once sent out letters trying to get people to order or email spams trying to get sales and still many folks attacked our motives. I have gone into great debt giving away my product because I believe every one needs hope. I can't give it away any longer but I still try to encourage folks to go to the site and read about the products and the testimonials of those who have tried what we offer. Our products work and I just want folks to check it out and make their own decisions. I have found a lot of bitterness in people because of the suffering they have experienced and maybe it has helped them to vent towards me and what I have tried to do. I don't think it is fair or right. A lot of folks here have tried my products and continue to buy them, but we do not actively go after them on this site. I believe if someone is informed then they can make their own decision and one that they feel is best for them.

I know the feeling, just wanted to say that my mom heard that after shampooing etc, in the shower and washing it all out.. to pour green tea (that I'm guessing you make, and of course cooled down) over your head, but don't wash it out afterwards. It's kinda hard to explain, but you may get what I'm trying to say. anyway, she said it stops the PS from building up it's layers like it does, etc. I haven't tried it yet, but I intend to... so, this is really just a thought/idea you might want to give a try to. Dunno if it'll actually work. I know how you feel though.. winter's the worse... stress also. Well I'll say a prayer for you, I know it's really just an annoyance to deal with.

I had no luck with any shampoos until I started using TGel Extra Strength. I still have an occasional flare up in the same spot on the bottom left side of my scalp but it really controls the rest of it. I used to have it over much more of my scalp.

This is not really a treatment but the only thing that has worked for me was selsun blue. I didn't use it as shampoo, I put it directly on the affected areas. One time I accidentally left it on too long (30 minutes) and it burned my scalp. It wasn't bad, just like a mild sunburn, but that was 3 years ago and I haven't had it on my scalp since. It was a total fluke, but you might try it. But leave it on for only 10 or 15 minutes at a time.
