I had a bad flair of Psoriasis on my face and forehead a few months ago and with creams and stress free time I have recovered and very little sign of anything on the face and forehead....

The point is I asked my Dr at the time to see a consultant and after a while I have been given an appointment on the 24th May

My question to you all is, has there been any new medication for the face and forehead that I can discuss with the consultant?

I also have P on my back and legs so I suppose I can show that area that is affected....

What is the most new and best product I can use, idf anybody has an answer it would be appreciated

I think Enbrel or Humira are the best fastest working medicines on the market. Not sure about the cost of Humira, but Enbrel is pricey. Best of luck to you and if you don't mind the time consumption of the ointments and cremes, I'm sure they may have plenty out there that work just a s good. I just hate that they are so time consuming when you have many areas of your body that is covered,~

I've tried many pricey topical meds. finally I've found three products making a difference I even get clear then flare again. I have noticed flares don't last as long seems the key for me having shorter flares is...I fight back immediately.

The psoriasis on my face, brows, eyes, ears and nose is painful for these delicate areas I apply Protopic (tacrolimus ointment 0.1%)
For the larger areas scattered about my body Halog 0.1% cream is the best I've used + it goes in the skin not messy.
For my hands/fingers Cordran 4MCG medicated tape it works like a miracle.

Psoriasis has a mind of it's own what works for one may not work for another. I hope this helps you or someone else find relief as I have.

The Cordran 4MCG medicated tape is that specific for Psoriasis or is it a general medicated tape? I have never tried somthing like that...

Today I met with the consultant, disappointing as ever he said if the Psoriasis is not severe I cant go on any other form of treatment other than creams so once he took a look at the plaques I had all over my back he prescribed Dovobet and agreed to see me again in August for maybe Phototherapy if its worse....

The main reason I made the appointment was to talk about the flair I had all over my forehead and face.....luckily I am clear now and no sign of Psoriasis on forehead and face so he couldnt comment and advised if I get another outburst to use Hydrocortisone....

The only time I was clear of P was when I agreed to be part of a medical trial of Enbrel that was about 6 years ago....Im going to be positive and stick with the creams and see what happens!
