Now I understand that different remedies work for different people but I thought that I would share my experience. I've had psoriasis for about five years now and at its worst over 85% of my body was covered. My scalp, arms, legs, torso, back, hands and feet. I even had patches on my face, in my ears, and on the bottom of my feet. I've tried multiple steroid topical treatments and went to phototherapy 3 times a week for almost three years. It helped but not enough.

First of all I recommend, as many have here before, that if you have scalp psoriasis derma smooth is worth a shot. It helped with the itching and I saw improvements within a few days use. It smells, and is hard to get out of your hair but can work wonders!

Secondly I highly, HIGHLY recommend trying calendula cream or lotion. It's relatively cheap (around $8 a bottle) and available at most health stores (try looking in the first aid section.) It has helped my psoriasis more than any of the topical steroid creams my dermatologist gave me and won't make your skin break out if that has been a problem. (I know that steroid creams gave me acne problems)

It takes a lot of time and effort to find what works best for you but there is something out there that can help!
